To celebrate the creative talent of Nottingham our ambition is to curate our two show homes at Meadows Green entirely using designers, makers, artists and local businesses from Nottingham and the county. We know there is a wealth of creative talent out there and we want to show our future home owners what is on offer.

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a whole range of designers, makers, artists and manufacturers so we can curate a collection of items to dress and furnish our two show homes at our new development Meadows Green.

Meadows Green comprises two developments in the old meadows area of Nottingham. Mundella is a 1930s art deco building which we are converting into apartments. Trent Works is a contemporary development of houses and apartments.

We want to find designers, makers, artists and local businesses that can supply original products, artworks, upcycled or vintage pieces that are designed or made in Nottingham.

We need the following items for hallway, kitchen, dining room, two bedroom, lounge and bathroom:

● Soft Furnishings
● Lighting
● Tableware
● Bed linen
● Furniture
● Artworks
● Accessories

Why get involved?

● We have a budget for buying or hiring pieces.
● We’ll profile you and your work on our social media channels, website and mailing list and in our press campaign to both local and international press.
● We won’t be able to accommodate everybody, but if we like what you do, we’ll be happy to share your work through our social media channels even if you are not including in the final show homes.
● In the show homes, we’ll provide details to visitors about your products so they can buy from you direct.

Why are we doing this?

Sourcing locally is a good investment in the local economy, it reduces environmental impact and shows our customers what is available locally. We also think it’s a great way to promote our development and Nottingham’s community of makers, designers and local businesses simultaneously.
